How do you capture a practice's completed works in a single volume? This catalogue of works acts as a chronicle of Allford Hall Monaghan Morris's work from a postgraduate thesis to the present day. The information is intentionally kept minimal with just one image, dates and basic data for each of the 206 projects, allowing readers to see for themselves the ebb and flow of work, client relationships, and architectural approach across the years. 

Chronicle also records the ongoing relationship between the practice and photographer Tim Soar, who has probably visited more AHMM projects than any other person. Given the near-impossible task of choosing a single image to capture the essence of each scheme, his remastered selection of photographs chart three decades of changing formats and contexts.

The book includes an afterword by Tim, a full index, and a list of the hundreds of staff members who made the projects happen.

Chronicle was shortlisted for a D&AD Award in June 2021.
